Shoulder injuries
the shoulder joint is complex and commonly injured
The shoulder joint is a ball and socket joint that has a huge range of movement. The “socket” arises from the shoulder blade so the shoulder joint mechanics become heavily influenced by our upper back and neck as well.
Most shoulder pain is amenable to a well planned exercise rehab program. There will likely be a need for hands-on physiotherapy, but progressive strengthening of the cuff muscles and scapular is key.
Our Physios see shoulder injuries every day - we will take the time to diagnose your shoulder injury and plan physiotherapy based rehabilitation.
